Python Developer
We are looking for Senior Python Developer to join a longterm project where you would work on internal Identity management system.
Job description
Use an up-to date version of Python and a framework, modern enough to track most recent developments and attract young developers, but stable enough so that key technologies we use (such as Oracle) is supported.
We want to correct our technological debt and basically use what is modern, popular and want to avoid making decisions that will be expensive to change later. (Picking the right framework, session management, authentication, ORM, etc)
Secondary goal:
Set up a pythonic development environment, decide whether to use type hinting, what coding style to adopt and we want to avoid bringing Perl-like thinking and idioms to a Python environment.
We also would like to pick a modern JS frontend framework and decide on a popular and stable development stack and tooling (eg. should we use ES7+typescript and transpire to some older versions?)
Expectations:
Several design / technology /architecture sessions with the product owner and the development lead
and later the development team to discuss and choose the new technology stack and co-design the solution.
Prerequisites and skills
Requirements:
Experienced Python developer with several projects that have included database, api’s, external service integration, secure web building)
