Job description

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain an internal development platform that enhances developer productivity and ensures compliance with organizational standards, with a focus on Java.
  • Work closely with development teams to gather requirements and tailor the platform to their needs.
  • Administer and optimize DevOps tools and services to support efficient development workflows.
  • Configure and manage platform-related infrastructure, including servers, databases, and essential services.
  • Continuously monitor system performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to maintain seamless operations.

Prerequisites and skills

  • Strong Java expertise, with a focus on technical excellence and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with automation, including proficiency in CI/CD tools and deep knowledge of DevOps technologies such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Skilled in containerization using Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes to enable scalable and efficient deployments.
  • Experienced in observability, utilizing tools like Prometheus and Grafana for logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting.
  • Proficient in relational database management, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with various cloud solutions, bringing flexibility and adaptability to different environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
  • Solid grasp of Agile methodologies, applying them effectively in development and operational workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.

Further information

  • Location: Košice (50% onsite), with travel to the Vienna office once a month or every two months.
  • Start Date: As per agreement.
  • Contract Type: Full-time employment (B2B contracts are not allowed).
  • Salary: Starting from €3,000 gross per month for this full-time position.
