Test Automation Engineer (Junior)
We are seeking a proactive Test Automation Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of meteorological products. You will design and maintain automated tests while collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and fellow testers in a technically challenging environment.
Job description
- Design, implement and maintain automated test scenarios
- Execute automated tests and analyse test results
- Identify, document, and report bugs clearly and efficiently
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and the development team to understand requirements and testing needs
- Cooperate with other automation testers to share knowledge, best practices, and improvements
Prerequisites and skills
- Basic programming knowledge and understanding of software development principles
- Good algorithmic thinking and ability to write structured, readable, and maintainable code
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
- Genuine interest in software testing and quality assurance
- Open-minded attitude and willingness to learn, including domain-specific knowledge related to meteorology
- Solid English skills (B2 level or higher), sufficient for understanding task assignments and testing scenarios
- Full-time permanent position
- Student or graduate of a technical university (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field)
- Knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript
- Knowledge of Angular framework and its testing tools (e.g. Cypress, Playwright)
- Experience with automated testing of web applications
- Experience with Git
